Monique Francis began her career as a first-grade teacher with the NYC Board of Education (currently known as the NYC Department of Education).

She then moved into an extensive career of public service with the City of New York working for the Administration for Children’s Services, the Human Resources Administration, and the Department of Homeless Services.

After two years of parent volunteerism and service as a Parent Association executive board member, Ms. Francis returned to education as the Parent Coordinator for a junior high school with a student body that exceeded eight hundred. She currently works as the Client Services Coordinator at a social service agency in Queens.
