Innovation Enrichment Week
Once a year, Innovation students get a chance to leave the classroom for a week or more to embark on credit-bearing project based experiential learning. This experience is at the heart of our mission, and allows our students to contextualize their education within the real world – in other cities, states, and countries!
Past Enrichment weeks include: Discover Senegal, Puerto Rico – a Culinary Journey, Islands of New York, ReMix Arts, Software Engineering, Music Recording, Graffiti Arts, Florida Ecology, “Think Tank” – New Orleans Social Justice

In March of 2016, Innovation embarked on its 6th annual Enrichment Week project-based learning program.
Over 400 students in 18 clusters engaged in true, project-based, experiential learning, in New York City and across the globe! Some highlights of the program included: Discover Brazil, Social Justice:NY to NOLA, Cycle Harlem, Conquer Spain!, Coding Virtual Reality, the REMIX project, and Innovation Music Recording Studio.
Congratulations to staff and students who conceived and carried out projects with great social, political and educational value, and that exemplified our core values of leadership, collaboration and social activism through Innovation!
