AVID

What is AVID?

AVID is an in-school academic support program for grades 9 through 12 that prepares students for college eligibility and success.

AVID IS NOT a remedial program or study hall.

Who is the AVID Site Team?

The AVID Site Team is an interdisciplinary team of teachers, counselors, administrators, and administrative/support staff. We are here to support student success and ensure that the school-wide AVID program holds high standards and is meeting all goals.

Similar to all CCR classes, AVID students will also have a four-year curriculum, PSAT, SAT, ACT test preparation, strategies for success, guest speakers, and college tours.
